Salam, Yesterday, Test3 of Fedora Core 2 was out. I was hoping that Fedora Arabic becomes true with the next release, but it seems we're late, as Youcef informed me on IRC. Checking the schedule [1] of the next official release, I found it's gonna be prepared for mirrors on May 13, which would mean we could get in our translations if we could finish before that date. Again, if you look at the status page [2], you'll be a bit disappointed as only approx. 4000 out of 11000 are finished!! The good news is, the strings that are left, are about 80% short easy to finish strings, which shouldn't take much time like Anaconda or other _so long_ strings that take so much time.
So, if we (translators) could concentrate on working _only_ on this project for the coming two weeks, I strongly believe we can get it ready on schedule. We have about 7000 strings left. I can do 500 strings at least daily, which make it possible to be on schdule :-) Feedback plz... P.S. I'm downloading the Test3 CDs to test some Arabic. 1. http://fedora.redhat.com/participate/schedule/ 2. http://www.arabeyes.org/misc/fedora_status_bar.html ===== regards, Ossama Khayat __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
