I know it became very common to use ØÙØØ and ØØÙÙØ for such words and their derivatives (like cypher for instance)... But unless there is an Arabic language expert here that can state without doubt that it's an Arabic word (in this context, and not the Arabic root ØÙØ), I would say never/ever use that word. Why ? Because, the English word cypher (and he French word 'chiffre', which means 'digit') both come from the Arabic word ØÙØ !
