The guides on oooauthors are initially released under GPL and CC, but all
authors also agreed to allow OOo to use them under the PDL, this means,
that stuff, that is written in one of the guides there can be reused for
your own documentation.
I was aware of it for the migration guide but not for the others.
The decision was made on the authors-mailinglist:

Beforehand, there were several discussions with Daniel Carrera (dcarrera),
André Schnabel (AndreSchnabel) and Christian Lohmeier (cloph) and the
final solution was, that documentation from oooauthors can be reused as
"initial writing" under the PDL.
The Germanophone project has added this already to our guides (a copy from
one chapter of the writer guide):
