Hi Bob,
I mean PDF output. I´ve seen the chapter in yout book but I have to
admit that I do not understand this topic at all. As an example perhaps
you can give me a piece of advice:
for chapter/title and sect1/title I need to define the space after let´s
say 40pt / 16pt.
Thanks in advance,
Andreas

Hi,
Do you mean PDF output or HTML output? If HTML, then you want to use
CSS. If FO, there is an attribute-set named component.title.properties
that is used for chapter, appendices, and other elements at that
level. You can create a custom attribute set for chapters only and
use the titlepage spec mechanism to enact it.
Did you see this information about customizing chapter titles in my book?

Subject: [docbook] chapter space after
Hello DocBook users,
I´ve searched the web for a solution about space before and after for
chapter titles. I want to generate a space after of each chapter title,
but unfortunately I can´t find any solution to this :-( Are there any
attribute-sets for this?
Thanks in advance,
Andreas
