Thanks everyone!

Stealing a few lines from everyone results in:

Are you looking for updated documentation for "Solaris 10 06/06"? (That's not
Solaris Expresss though.)

Both html and pdf were available, labelled as beta.

 We call this "continuous publishing."?

We relized that continuous publishing didn't work well for Release Notes.? It
also didn't work well for the Installation books.? So, beginning with Solaris
10 6/06, there will be new versions of these books.

The question that hasn't been asked is what is the relationship of the docs on
docs.sun.com to the OpenSolaris source.

OpenSolaris doc source will correspond to the versions published through
Solaris Express.? As additional source
is made available, it will be released as a tarball and published through
Solaris Express.

While it's okay to request more documentation or pointers to it,
I'd like to see contributions, too.

There are many ways in which community members can provide information and
knowledge to the Sun OpenSolaris documentation that writers within
Sun might not know about. For example, with interoperability, some
community members might have more experience with using an existing
Solaris feature in a heterogenous environment that writers at Sun don't
have access to. Documentation on how to configure that feature for the
particular environment would be great to have as part of OpenSolaris
documentation.

The Solaris 10 6/06 documentation (other than the latest
release notes) is now available on docs.sun.com.

It seems like we need a more obvious path to the Express docs
from docs.sun.com.

Now I have a clear picture of what's going on. I'm going to post a link to
this thread into a thread I started on forums.sun.com so if anyone else has
these questions hopefully they'll get answered.

thanks again,
alan
