I am a newbie to opensolaris. Have worked on Linux previously. Tracing the solaris and particularly zfs-vfs code is a heavy task. It involves a lot of cross-referencing and it not very understandable. I would like to know if there is a manual/documenatation explaining the interaction between the VFS interface and ZFS, how exactly the system calls are translated between these two etc. If not, could one be created?
