I agree, sounds like a good idea. I think Dave was planning on  
automatically pointing the installer at

relnotes/[release]/[platform]/[build]

While platform and build are covered for the dev releases, I'm not  
sure what the value of 'release' should be. I'll see if i can follow  
up with Dave about what he thinks might be a good idea here.

So I should clarify the first - the actual document isn't on the  
LiveCD, but a link to it will be (in the 'Start Here' dialog).

Definitely keen to have some input into the cool things that people  
feel should be included.

I think that sounds like a decent proposal - hopefully the issues  
resulting from 2008.11 won't be as great an impact as some of them did  
for 2008.05.

I think this is a good solution too - reducing the barrier to entry is  
going to get a lot of people more likely to contribute and see direct  
results of their contribution.
