I've had some initial conversations with David Comay about turning the docs consolidation tarball into a package, and could do something similar with the man consolidation tarball. For clarification, what's the use case are you thinking of? Can install the man package via Package Manager now, so want to be sure I understand what you have in mind and why you'd want the tarball in package format.
