If generic announcement systems for software updates like sourcewell.berlios.de
and freshmeat.net are not sufficient, then Sun would need to offer a Sun 
website to repeat this feature.

It is typically impossible to find the current Sun maintainers for a piece of 
fostware and the names change freqhently in some areas.
