Hi Peter,

Thanks for this feedback you wrote:

This is the place to ask.

We don't have a reader, but the tarball includes html for most of the books.
Each book has its own directory when you unpack the tar file. Inside that book
directory is an html directory with the human-readable files.

I have wondered about this and I've changed it a few times over the past year,
so it is open for discussion. I used to have all the HTML right in that same
directory, then couple folks thought it too messy, so I moved them into a
separate directory. Let me know which you prefer, or let me know if you missed
it _because_ of the separate directory or because this is not explicitly stated
on the download page. I will fix it.

Caveat: For 3 of the books there is no HTML in the latest tarball. I have a
tool problem I haven't yet resolved for those. I appreciate your patience, I
generally make a monthly update, but got behind the curve this month and missed
the Jan. tarball push.

See above for what we have today. But, I have never included PDF because
DocBook to PDF is too complex and we already have the PDFs on docs.sun.com.

Right, I don't think we have a way to download an entire collection of PDFs
from docs.sun.com. I'll get this feedback to the folks who need it.

Well, I really appreciate your time to send this feedback, I doubt that you're
the only one too. Any other comments you have on the tarball and general doc
project questions are welcomed and encouraged. We also own the man page
tarball, so comments on that are fine here too.

Michelle
