We don't have a reader, but the tarball includes html for most of the books. Each book has its own directory when you unpack the tar file. Inside that book directory is an html directory with the human-readable files. I have wondered about this and I've changed it a few times over the past year, so it is open for discussion. I used to have all the HTML right in that same directory, then couple folks thought it too messy, so I moved them into a separate directory. Let me know which you prefer, or let me know if you missed it _because_ of the separate directory or because this is not explicitly stated on the download page. I will fix it. Caveat: For 3 of the books there is no HTML in the latest tarball. I have a tool problem I haven't yet resolved for those.
