I'm one of the primary admins for Genunix. Genunix was started by Al Hopper with servers donated by Sun and space/bandwidth provided by ISC. I created the Wiki with the same ideal used for Genunix is general, to provide a safe haven for work that bypasses the normal bureaucracy imposed by using Sun resources. Mirrors, Wikis, project space, what ever people need we're here to provide. Its a community resource to be used how the community see's fit. With reguards to spam, Venky, one of our most gun-slinging contributors, keeps spam on a tight leash. Genunix has been around a long time, and further the Docs Community has used it for a very long time. The entire wiki itself was done as a contribution to the Docs community; see the bottom of the main page for evidence. Specific questions and be aimed my way if needbe but honestly Michelle is just as authoritative on the subject as I am. benr.
