Are you using an unpatched version of xalan.jar?
The one provided in docs-build is patched to add a new-line before
<!DOCTYPE>
I don't know why it has been tweaked this way. Only a cosmetic issue?
Personally I would +1 the use of the unpatched version of xalan, and +1
a change 2.7.2 to use the latest version available. Changes between
2.7.1 and 2.7.2 are really limited and looks like small optimizations only.
At least, every one that build the docs should use a consistent
framework or we will keep doing/undoing this kind of modification.

I know that 'comments' has been down for a while now (really sad, it is
a really nice source of comment/feedback from our users), but is it done
on purpose (i.e. style="visibility: hidden;")?
