--- Comment #3 from Philippe Cloutier <[email protected]> --- Greetings Rich, (In reply to Rich Bowen from comment #1) > I don't really feel that this is a "bug". I also do not consider this as a bug. > Please miscategorize tickets all > the time, and we just move them to where they go. Modifying the component/product itself does not require much effort, but checking that the ticket is not a duplicate (because the reporter searched the wrong place) takes significant effort. And if it *is* a duplicate, then most of the reporter’s efforts will have been wasted. It Should be clear where each issue goes. > We certainly could add a > website category, but then I'd have to track two categories instead of just > one, and that feel less efficient to me than just recategorizing stuff as I > see it. To clarify, this is not saying the website has to have a specific component/product. This is just saying the website should document where issues in website contents are tracked. To simplify, I would say it took me about 1 hour to figure that out, with limited confidence. I believe website issues other than contents/HTML/CSS/JS are tracked in ASF Jira. For the documentation proper, this is currently achieved with the “Report a bug” link top right, although if we go for a link on each page, I would rather recommend “Report an issue or propose an improvement”. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
