The Download section of the Compiling and Installing page starts with:
> If you wish to build from source, start by downloading the source tarball
> from the Apache HTTP Server download site.
In fact, the website asks not to download from apache.org, and rather use
mirrors.
I suggest:
> If you wish to build from source, start by downloading the source.
…with a link on “downloading the source”.
By the way, the download page already says to verify the integrity.
