The gif version was created with GIMP 3.2.2 (starting from pdf.gif), and the png version was converted from the gif version using GraphicsMagick 1.3.46. (I previously used GIMP's "Export Image to PNG" to generate the png version.) The png version should now have the same chunks as the other png files, and it also now contains the attribution comment. I don't have fine-grain control on how GIMP produces gif files. I can attach the GIMP .xcf file here if that helps. I think the only aspects of these files that matter are: * they appear visually correct * contain the attribution comment * have as small a file size as possible Other aspects like what is the transparent colour (it is transparent, the colour value doesn't matter) and what chunks are in the file are IMHO not important. (Strictly speaking this icon, while based on the previous tar icon and other icons, is my work. However I don't think it matters to have my name included in the attribution comment and so I kept the comment the same as the one in pdf.gif.
