 I don't think this is a Doctrine issue, I believe this is how PHP itself
 works.  If you reference a string or variable or object in PHP, the case
 of that string or variable or object must match.  Doing the overhead to
 change PHP's default behavior wouldn't make much sense from an overhead
 perspective, I'd say.
