The paginator in DoctrineExtensions is only compatible woth Doctrine 2.1
and older. It was the initial work on providing pagination. As of
Doctrine 2.2, the pagination logic has been moved in Doctrine itself, so
the paginator in DoctrineExtensions is not maintained anymore.
and yes, Pagerfanta works with Doctrine 2.4.1 (with anything higher than
Doctrine 2.2 actually, as the hard work is done in Doctrine itself)
