Thanks, I think this was the "other page" I mentioned in my first post. But then couldn't find again, or felt that http://www.doctrine-project.org/contribute.html had more detail. Knowing where the travis file is will be helpful testing against mysql. Reading that doc, it looks like I've bumbled along enough already to get where I am.
