Hi everybody,
we are using some old doctrine version (is in our project repository since
2013 or so, with our custom fixes, pretty sure we can not upgrade it
anymore) and now we have a problem that one database instance is not enough
anymore. We have to scale it somehow and one of the possibilities is to use
postgresql replication and the MasterSlaveConnection from the latest dbal
version. As I see we can use it with a few small adjustments. Does anybody
have experience with it? Is there maybe an another way to implement
master/slave connections in the application (inclusive 3-rd party solutions
between the application and database like pgpool or so). Thank you!
Cheers
Dimitri
