Tom, To date, we (the English LO docs team) have used ODFAuthors only for testing or unusual situations. I have not attempted to keep the LO docs on ODFAuthors updated to match Alfresco; Alfresco remains the definitive source. We could, of course, choose to change this arrangement.
Most of the "old timers" from OOo have accounts in both places.
