Hi :) Probably less of a problem than you thought. It's fairly easy to "revert" a page to a previous version.
Of course i never figured out how to do that but most people just seem to do a single-click to fix it. So, i tend to cheat by comparing old&new and then copy&paste the old bits to re-replace the changed bits. It's probably better to let someone else do the single-click fix tbh. I made a booboo! To be fair, I think someone else made one before me. While editing the Writer FAQ section on Input and Output, I found one article that was still in French. Assuming this to be a copy of the French original still awaiting translation, I started translating it in-situ and had done a couple of paragraphs when I suddenly realised that the link from the contents list had actually been made to the original article in the French wiki and not to a copy. So this article, which should be in French, is now partially in English.
