Hi Peter G :) Hopefully someone will register you at ODFAuthors soon. They hopefully send you the login details such as username and password privately. You might be able to change the password to make it something that hasn't been sent over the internet by email (not a hugely high risk for something like this but it is possible).
Do you have a preference for username? Something fairly short is usually good. We already have at least 1 Peter, but sometimes seems like we have many more.
