Well John, with all that we have covered here, it sounds like the control head is most likely at fault. I have lucked out a couple times pulling it apart and finding a cracked solder. If you have a fine pointed butane soldering iron (cheap), you can go over the board heating the connections (just the larger ones)with just a touch of fine solder (not acid core!). Then reassemble, install and recalibrate. Good luck man. Darryl
