Watch along in horror, everyone, as I wait to see if my 3.2L needs
just such a repair (damaged caused by piston-to-valve interference.).
I replaced the timing belt/tensioner/waterpump over the recent Xmas
holidays, and last Friday the new waterpump pulley *failed* --
trashing the timing belt and tensioner while it was at it.

Yes, my timing belt literally turned into *fluff* -- like you would
find inside a pillow. Eeee-vil.

So now I'm waiting for the replacement parts to arrive. When they do,
I'll have to partially reassemble the engine just to find out whether
or not I have bent valves.

Keep your fingers crossed for me, eh?
