I have a 2002 Intrepid SE with a 2.7 engine in it. Recently I loaned
it out to a friend while I was gone for a week and while gone the
battery went dead by itself (not sure if they left a light on or what
have you not) and they had to jump start it. When they jumped it none
guages are working. I still get my lights that say that the door is
open and such but that is it that is working on the displays. I was
able to drive it fine for a few days and then it sat over the weekend
and now it does not start at all. It has a full battery because
everything comes on, it's just no longer turning over and the emergency
blinkers are on (without the switch being turned on). I have checked
all of the fuses and they are all good. I currently have no display
for the mileage, the guages, and the one on the roof (I call it a heads
up...it displays DTE and such). I also have no AC and no horn. When
we read it with an OBD readerand it shows a P1687 which is a "No
Cluster Bus Messages." I am not sure on what it could be and don't
have the money to take it in to get looked at. Anybody else have this
problem or have had it and could give me a hand with it? I would
greatly appreciate it.
