I've got a '97 with the autostick option. When in overdrive or using the autostick and switching between 3rd and 4th and applying gas and steering wheel shudders a bit (like the gear is slipping) in proportion to how much gas I am giving it...if I just glide into 4th there is no shudder. It doesn't seem to matter what speed I'm at (40 to 70) when it switches and it only happens when going into 4th ( I say 4th, but in overdrive its the last gear...I assume 4th). The fluid levels are all fine. It does have 204,500 miles on it. Is the transmission shot or just need something? I have not had the transmission fluid and filter changed out for fear of creating a bigger problem. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. - Kelly
