say i have a 94 intrepid with 166,000 miles on it and the trans is starting to go south. i have installed a shift kit and this helped but it is now starting to slip out of gear when the transmission is cold. this happens only once during the warm up. anyway i want to get another trans and i don't need the problem of getting the older type. what year was the newer type of trans out that will fit in the 94 intrepid? what model trans should i be looking for. if anyone has one of the better transmissions in the Michigan area and is looking to sell one let me know.
