If the wiper mechanism itself is at fault, it is not the springs but a stiff hinge causing the problem instead.
There is a better solution; windshield wipers with air foils on them. They have a "spoiler" which uses wind to keep them pressed to the windshield. I wish I could remember where I got my last pair. They're not fancy rice-boy ones either. They look normal. Other wiper blades will have several slots to allow the wind to flow through them, and it helps also. my '00 intrepid has Anco blades on them, which do not have the foils on them, but on that car it never seems to be a problem. I have a few other cars where you can't go 70 mph in the rain because the wipers just float and do absolutely nothing. The spoilers make them stick like glue and I feel invincible in the rain LOL. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
