on the oil light, there is a problem with the intrepids oil sending units going
bad but i would make sure its not a oil issue and check oil level first and
listen for knocking sounds coming from the engine, second the not coming out of
park could be a brake light switch or fuse, go to the rear of the car and have
someone push the brake pedal, if the lights dont come on then its either the
fuse or the switch, if they do then listen when you push on the brake and see
if you hear the soleniod releasing the shifter, if not then could be a few
things like soleniod or wiring. hope this helps

Intrepid, automatic transmission. It winter and
snowing and I didnt start the car for a couple of days. Then when I
started the Low Oil Pressure indicator started glowing. Also I am
unable to shit gear from parking. Before this the car was running fine
without any problem. Can someone let me know what the problem could be.
Thank you
Rajkumar.
