Kevin,

Modern fuel injected engines do not have any fuel smell in normal
operation. You might have a fuel leak, which can lead to a nasty fire.
 Check that out right away.

If you have to drive it, be "primed" to shut off the key on the first sign
of smoke or flame. The steering column will not lock, so you can steer &
brake to a stop. Key off right away stops the fuel pump, and shuts off the
electrical items. Both likely sources of energy.

Could be something simple, like a vent line which fell off the carbon
canister. But it could be a pinhole leak in the fuel delivery line. Fuel
injection needs about 50psi, and leaks don't get better on their own.

Your other problem is easy in comparison. When the blower will only run on
high, you likely need to replace the blower motor resistor grid. It is a
low cost part.

Hi everyone,

Has anyone had a strong gasoline smell at startup? Also, my
blower fan for the a/c runs on high and won't turn down when I turn
the knob. Anyone had these problems yet?
