Time for some diagnosis. You need to get a test light onto the starter motor connections and see if you're getting current when the key is turned. You must see current at both the solenoid as well as the heavy battery cable that actually powers the motor itself. If you have current at the solenoid, it is extremely likely that your battery cable is corroded. I had this happen myself; the battery being located down near the front wheel invites corrosion at the terminals and in the cable even if the splash shield is properly installed. If you are getting current, then suspect the starter.
