It is the same 2.7.The engine is appropriately strong enough in a car that size
for anR/T package. The R/T designation is more of a luxury sport packagethan a
hardcore racing package. That is what the SRT designation isfor (and boy, do
they mean it. I've had a ride in a Charger SRT-8 andit's really impressive.)On

recently came across a 2003 Chrysler Sebring R/T sedan. Really nice looking car
and loaded. I saw it had a "2.7 Magnum" tag on it. Does anyone know- is this
the same 2.7 in the Intrepids that everyone has had so many complaints about?
If so, I wonder why in the world they would put such a weak motor in a R/T
product. I couldn't find much online so I figured I'd check with you guys.
