I recently bought Bridgestone Potenzas for my Sebring LXi convertible. I chose
these over my 2nd choice because of their aggressive, directional tread
pattern. They also have the highest SPEED rating of any tires I considered. I
am not a fast driver, but this rating is an indication of a tire's durability.
The POTENZA is also very smooth, and has an excellent rating for rain and snow.
I was tempted by tires with ultra high MILEAGE ratings, but these 3 criteria
come first, for me. On 2 separate occasions, 2 different salesmen at my local
Firestone store gave me detailed advice on 3 of their best tires for my car. My
experience at 3 other stores left me with little or no information.
If I had an Intrepid I would put on White Stripe tires. There are several in my
city, and they look super classy. Mostly, just buy from a place you trust. My
POTENZAs came to $120 each, but nowadays even cheap tires will serve you well.

Hey everybody! I would like to know if anyone has any
recomendations
when it comes to buying tires for the Intrepid? I'm in the process of
buying some and was wondering what all of you think would be a wise
purchase. I have been looking at Goodyear Assurance Comfor Tred and
Triple Tred tires. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
