GEOFF--gonna miss you--our original owner 2002 RT--is the best auto we have
ever
owned --
it will be a long term keeper--so far inner tie rod end (due to some idiot
trying to pull on it)  and a clock spring ( due to the dealer loading it with
grease)--funny how they said the rack was bad --two places !!---brought the
whole rod (since learned of the kit)--repair shops give these cars a bad rap to
make some quick $$$--thanks for your past help --suzukimx

Subject: [dodge_intrepid] Farewell, Intrepid group

It's been several months since I've seen a new post on this group. With it now
having been more than 5 years since the last Intrepid was produced, perhaps
most
of them are well on their way to the great scrapyard in the sky. My own 1998 ES
was sold in 2007 and replaced with a Jeep Grand Cherokee, which was
subsequently
wrecked earlier this year and replaced with another Grand Cherokee. Being that
it has been several years since I last worked on my Intrepid, I doubt that my
knowledge is fresh enough to be of much help to anyone anymore.

I recall the moderator asking several months ago for someone to step in and
take
his place. I don't know him, but as the moderator for several other email
lists,
I'd like to thank him for putting on a fine forum that helped a lot of people
through the years. It is not an easy job, and it is quite often a thankless
one.
Good job, and thank you!

As for me, I continue moderating one of the Internet's oldest mailing lists,
the
Mopar Mailing List (MML). There are roughly 550 of us, and the group is still
going strong in its 20th year. If you need a good place to talk Mopar -- tech,
collecting, racing, buying, selling, the MML is a great resource. I encourage
you to join and get to know us. Visit
http://mopar.tamu.edu/mailman/listinfo/mml
if you're interested. There are lots of guys there with knowledge of virtually
every Chrysler product made ranging from about 1950 on to the present day.
Bring
us your Intrepid question and it will be answered.

Meanwhile, I'm signing off of the Intrepid list. I wish each and every one of
you good luck and many happy miles with your Intrepids, Concordes and 300Ms,
good, solid cars each and every one of them. If you want to get in touch with
me
for some reason, my email address is [email protected]. Farewell, it was
great while it lasted.
