back in the college days-but you needed to bring a blanket when you went on a
date-90f here at 11am-the RT has a great AC-cheers mate and i need to venture
off to the vintage mx sites now -we are getting ready for a national vintage
mx--suzukimx

Hi Buzzy

thanks for the email. Actually, I just bought a 3.5 last week to go with my 2.7
and it's at the garage today having the timing belt changed as the previous
owner hadn't had it done. It was when I was researching all this that I found
out about the timing chain going on 2.7's. There were a couple of times when my
garage mentioned having the belt changed on the 2.7 but then corrected
themselves to say that it isn't necessary because it has a chain. I was rather
dismayed to see that the chain isn't reliable although I'm not sure whether
that's just internet rumour. I lived in the UK and had a Citroen with hydraulic
suspension - beautiful car

fabulous ride because of the hydraulics. But people always moaned that the
hydraulics were unreliable. I had 6 Citroens with the hydraulics and never once
had a problem. They were cheap too because of the unwarranted reputation. I
kind
of wonder if the Intrepid timing chain issue is similar.
