Dave Sharples and I have got to know Ian (NZ) and think it would be good for
Ian to join DOGS - he has been working on grob109A for a while and Nig you
may send him the past dog link

I think it was Ian that refreshed my memory about the pawnee tow pilot where
the side window was opened and came up and thru stop and killed pilot.
Happened 25 - 30 years ago I seem to remember. When I tow behind a Pawnee
and the thick wit tow piolot has side window open I go into high tow and
watch like an eagle as the window bounces up and down. It is clearly in
flight manual as it must not be flown with window open

 Hi Ian,

Good news .... I have got the job of resurrecting the Dimona H36 which
arrived in NZ a few years ago (the only one in NZ) from Oz.

How about that. .... will be leaving Auckland later this week to go the
Greymouth (West Coast South Island)to pick it up (about 2000 Km all up)
... assuming it will fit on a PW-6 trailer.

Best regards

Ian Willians
