  Hi Team/Nige.

A few of the sobering XD pics I took are attached. As per our discussion
Nige, the sheared port spar looks pretty drastic. Not sure if a repair scheme
is possible and I would expect the starboard spar to be pretty stressed also.
When you plan your recovery trip, please let me know and I will come to Byron
to say gooday and provide any help I can. Let me know if you need any bits and
pieces which could help. Don't forget to ask JB for the handling trolleys.

It will be great if you can rebirth XD as it was after all the first HK36
into Aus.

  Happy Christmas all.

  PhilB.

Hi All and welcome to Bob Balfour to the list.
Bob is with the Scout group at Camden who run a HK36 and Bob came to
Burketown this year for the first time.

It has been quiet on the list for a bit. Does anybody have any news.

For me it seems I now have the record for the most glory flights in a
season. Thirteen in fact (note that is a Baker's dozen). I would have shared it
with Rob but he wanted a chance to get footage of it from the ground on that
last day so I flew with friends. Which in fact brings me to another point. I
landed and took off again with the next pax so flew the same system twice on
the same day. Does that count as 2 rides?. If so my tally runs to 15 cause Rob
and I did that one day as well.
Thus Rob 14 rides and 15 for me. But then who counts after so many.

If you want to break the record I suggest a LOOOOOONNNNNNNNNG holiday in
Burketown and lots of boredom.
Rob and I were there for a full month and it was a brilliant season. Even
the "King of the Glory" Geoff Pratt who is a man of few words was heard to say
several times that it was an amazing season.

Attached some shots of the new addition to the Baker Family Fleet.
Only 3 previous owners and good hours left on the engine.
Duco needs a little touch up and a few minor repairs needed but looks good
otherwise.
Should look good when I'm finished.
    Whataya reckon?.
    It's not that bad really.

    Any other news, anyone?.

    Cheers.
    Nige.
