Hi John, Thanks for your response. The one we have is all plastic and works fine. Possibly used in Ultra -light a/c, we have it as an extra, fitted just after tank outlet. Hopefully some one will have access to this type or something light and low cost but effective.

Hi Bob, Sounds very like a Toyota filter although 10 mm is unusual. Ryco also make a similar unit with 5/16" axial inlet at the base and a 90 deg horizontal outlet which might suit. Ryco also make a similar unit with all steel casing which is certainly better in fire prone areas. Also you could check with Mike Burns at Tocumwal. He sourced some very neat demountable aluminium bodied filters when we were working on the Stemme project & I am pretty sure he found them in Qld. Subject: IN-LINE FUEL FILTERS. Can anybody in the group please advise if you know where we can obtain small in-line aviation style fuel filters. The type that we require has the style, non- reusable fully sealed case Clear plastic body, approx 50 mm long x 40 mm diameter with inlet and outlet hose tails to suit approx 10 mm ID fuel line hose. Internally is a red filter cage with spring at inlet end and word "Entrata" - IN. This filter is to be used between Fuel tank and electric fuel pump with Premium unleaded automotive fuel in a Rotax 912S3. Regards Bob Balfour.
