Limbach recomend high quality automotive oil. Definately not aero oils that are
for lycomings etc. with large oil galleries.
Semi synthetic multigrade oils seem to be the best choice.
The damping oil that these carburettors were designed to use is single weight
60 grade which is a bit hard to source these days. Locally Penrite Oil do
supply the specified product. Any oil is better than none.

  Hi guys!

We are just doing the first 50hr inspection on my Dimona and some questions
has of popped up.
I would need your help with two of them:

What motor oils are you having in your engines? Is the Aeroshell w15w-50 okey
to use? The temps around here is about 20 degrees Celsius during the summer.
Or what do you guys recommend?

What kind of dampening oil are you using in the carburator? I have got so
many advices on that topic that I can“t decide :)

  Thank for all your advices!

  Best regards //Lasse

  Mvh Lasse
