Limbach recomend high quality automotive oil. Definately not aero oils that are for lycomings etc. with large oil galleries. Semi synthetic multigrade oils seem to be the best choice. The damping oil that these carburettors were designed to use is single weight 60 grade which is a bit hard to source these days. Locally Penrite Oil do supply the specified product. Any oil is better than none.
