Personally I use a good quality auto 10W40 - maybe later in life of engine you may consider 20w50 (or 15W50 or even bigger range oil) Good quality and common brand is a good idea.
I do have a mould of the koff suck out as used on the L2400 in Dimona and have used same on G109A as well and it works well. And as for Jabiru - would be far too much work either go to new L2000 or if you wish L2400. You must get it running cool FULL POWER CHT 170deg AND NOT RISING ANY HIGHER and oil say max 95degC and NOT RISING.
