We have springs and nylon sliders(not bearings) in #3512 but it is not a big issue to me. Yes, they are a bit stiff and take a little to get used to but certainly nothing I would regard as an issue. The springs can be adjusted via a simple clamp on the aileron rod under the tank.....maybe they are adjusted with too much spring tension? Rob

Maybe the 3500's were for the Thai order? Anyway, it seems that I am stuck with the heavy springs/ailerons, which is a pity as being basically a glider pilot it does not have a pleasant feel. Have the owners of serial nos. 3512/3535 not remarked on this problem? Cheers, Neville.
