We have springs and nylon sliders(not bearings) in #3512 but it is not a big
issue to me. Yes, they are a bit stiff and take a little to get used to but
certainly nothing I would regard as an issue.
The springs can be adjusted via a simple clamp on the aileron rod under the
tank.....maybe they are adjusted with too much spring tension?

Subject: Re: [DOG mailing list] Heavy ailerons #3667

From the info that you supplied, Nige, it would appear that the 3500 series
and
the 3600 series must have been built at the same time. Maybe the 3500's were
for the Thai order?

Anyway, it seems that I am stuck with the heavy springs/ailerons, which is a
pity as being basically a glider pilot it does not have a pleasant feel.

Have the owners of serial nos. 3512/3535 not remarked on this problem?

Cheers,

Neville.
