Hi All,

I was preparing to take a new student for a flight this morning and had him
accompany me on the DI on our H36 as he has a technical background.

While pointing out the areas to check under the cowl I moved the throttle
linkage to feel for integrity and the bloody wire snapped where is goes through
the friction fitting.

Rob has recommended lubricating this point as if there is any rolling
resistance by the fitting it would have to result in stress to the inner wire.

After much hunting around I found a supplier of a replacement inner. (Sydney)
