A friend of mine has McMurdo fastfind model 410 I seem to remember with GPS for sale now with new battery (well June 2015). He thinks $200 is reasonable price and looks like new (well never used but tests OK).
He bought a new Australian made 406 beacon recently. I have the same unit (made in UK) and sourced the replacement batteries in Australia so his no 2 unit is for sale. If somebody wants it Norm will sort out changing the name and contact details and there is no annual fees involved naturally . This unit is waterproof but WILL NOT FLOAT so only suitable for aviation or hiking (or when you have a heart attack) Ian McPhee
