Hi Michael ... it isn,t. It sits on rubber pads on the fuse behind the seat back and is retained by the 2 panels on top. Real simple and effective. If u have the fibreglass tank like we have the canopy needs to come off to remove the tank. Getting at the outlet banjo needs a bit of double jointed work but can be done . Once loose, rotate the tank upside down to get out.
