Hi Jarek,
Engine oil level - We always aim for the oil level to be around the half way 
mark ie half way between the bottom and the full marks on the dip stick withe 
the aircraft on the ground. This provides the correct amount of oil for flight. 
 That tail is too bloody heavy to lift every time you want to check the oil!
Oil temp - In winter, we cover part of the oil cooler core with aluminium tape. 
In your situation at the moment you may need to cover all of it.

I noticed today the temperature of the oil below 50 degrees Celsius (with 
outside temperature at ca 10 - 13 degrees). Is this acceptable? The CHT was at 
ca 120 degrees at all times.
