I do not use it but I do spend a, bit of time insuring the stem lines up in a, correct position. With many hubs I modify slightly using square end burr so that valve extension fits easy.
I can't stand miss alignment of valve stem I personally ALWAYS use 380x150-5 tyre which is a big bag version or very common 500x5 tyre. Yes, you can use 500x5 but cushioning ride on rough ground is never as good as 380x150-5. These days the best tyre is not very expensive AND LASTS, 50% longer than 500x5. You get what you pay for.
