While flying today I noticed that my voltage would go up from the normal 14.3 to 14.6 volts to an occasional 15.3 volts. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas or opinions as to what I should be looking for ? Loose connectors ? Overheating ? Replacement types ? What will happen if the regulator fails in flight ? Fire ? Avionics ?
