Hi Ian, when filling my motor with oil I only bring it up to the lower mark
on the dipstick - given the aft tilt of the motor when the airplane is on
the ground, this is equivalent to a two third full indication when the
motor is level. If I fill it to the upper mark it will blow lots of oil
while flying. That said, I would like some pictures - [email protected] -
and I appreciate your diligence.
Best Regards,
Tom
