Hi All,

Attached are pics of the Dimona trailer as promised.

It was constructed after significant discussion.

The Fuse rolls on from the front with the 2 outer front panels doubling as wing
tip supports and main wheel ramps

Note the side view which shows the main wheel position … is at the max legal
distance from the back.  Does mean the drawbar weight is high needing weights
at the tailgate

Note also the front wheel stand AND the jack thing which is used to lower the
front to the ground to load the Fuse.

The 2 small metal main wheel wells

The elevator slides into a fitting cradle and is located between the Fuse and
the wing on one side.

Improvements could include

A frame /crane thing right at the back  that could be designed to lift the wing
root end up to clear the trailer side and move horizontally so it could be
rested on a sawhorse. The tip end can be lifted easily by one person.

A better system at the back to include 2 vertical pins for the main spar pin
holes.

But overall, I am really pleased with it as it gives me a much better level of
independence when hanger space is at a real premium

Driving stability is “good”  reducing the drawbar weight is important (around
150Kg or so)  but at 90Km/hr it was quite stable.

Have a great Christmas and a equally great new year

Could somebody confirm this email went out OK

Best regards from New Zealand

Ian Williams
