I have the OpenSRS 3.0 client installed on Windows 2008 server (IIS 7.0) and Perl 5.8.8. Windows SMTP server is setup on the same machine; I've tested it with asp applications and it works just fine.
The OpenSRS script works properly when I comment out all of the email info; but when I try to set-up smtp email in the config file, the name registers at Tucows as pending, but the script hangs and users never get the confirmation page and no email is sent. Has anyone gotten email working on a Windows server? Any ideas what I needs to be done.
